Kangana Ranaut, who is usually very thin, has put on weight as a result of being bedridden due to her fractured foot.

Resting for just twelve days and feasting on Indian homemade food and sweets, added 7 kgs to her weight. However, her added weight doesn’t concern the producers of her film, Tanu Weds Manu at all.

In fact, they’re glad to see her put on weight and are ensuring she eats more.

Producers Vinod Bachchan and Shailesh Singh and director Anand Rai are glad to see Kangana put on weight. Her diet too has changed completely.

Kangana isn’t happy about her weight gain but the film unit is because she will fit in just perfectly as a Punjabi girl in the film.

It doesn’t bother them that her outfits will have to be remade, despite the cost reaching at least Rs. 2 lakh. Well, as long as they aren’t complaining, we guess all’s good! Plus, Kagana looks good anyhow!!!!

Despite Kings XI Punjab’s poor run at the IPL this year, it’s owner Preity Zinta remains one of the wealthiest lady in the tinsletown. According to some cricket experts, Preity’s stake in her cricket team alone is valued at around Rs 350 to Rs 400 crores.

Not only that, the actress is also likely to be declared the heiress to Shandar Amrohi, who is one of the co-owners of Kamalistan Studios (worth Rs 600 crores) that originally belonged to Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi. It is said to be a prime property, being eyed by several builders.

Shandar considers Preity to be his adopted daughter and wants to will his property to her. However, the legal dispute over Kamal Amrohi’s property remains unresolved and is leading towards an out-of-court settlement. Now, the buzz is that Preity might restore the Kamalistan Studios.

There is a strong rumour that suggests that at some point Preity will sell some part of her IPL stake and redevelop the Kamalistan property alongwith a high-profile builder from Pune.

Her personal life often grabs more attention than her work, but actress Sushmita Sen has gone ahead and announced in her signature candid style that contrary to rumors, she is “completely single”.

The 34-year-old actress denied reports that she has got back with ex-lover Manav Menon after splitting from ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ director Mudassar Aziz.

“I am completely single at the moment and enjoying it. I am not the kind of person to hide a relationship, so when I am in love, I let everybody know,” said Sushmita.

When asked whether she was ready to mingle, the actress pointed to the crowd surrounding her and said, “I am mingling, ain’t I?”

Sushmita who is mother to two adopted daughters, Renee,7 and 6-month-old Alisah is enjoying life to the fullest and is back to her svelte self after piling on the pounds in the past.

After her girl-on-girl raunchy photo shoot, Neetu Chandra is making headlines once again. This time, the hot babe is seen doing a bathing scene in Jagmohan Mundhra’s The Apartment which is reminiscent of Smita Patil’s ‘bathing in the slums’.

Talking about the daring scene Neetu says, “I went about it very professionally. Initially, I was nervous but later, after seeing the scene and the way it was shot, I am confident it will go down well.

They also showed me Tanushree’s shower scene with Rohit in her lavish apartment and then there is my bathing scene in a run-down broken bathroom. I am sure there will be comparisons.”

When asked about the comparison with Smita Patil’s bathing scene in Chakra Neetu tells, “I knew that Smita Patil had done a similar bathing scene in Chakra. I have been compared to Smitaji since Traffic Signal but it’s not fair to be compared to anyone. She was a legend. We all look up to her. If I can be even one per cent of what she was, my life is set.”

So, did she actually shed all her clothes to perform, as the picture suggests?

“Well it shows that I am nude but I don’t want to comment beyond that. It can be a trick of the camera too. Do you think any actress would pose for a scene like this without wearing anything,” She retorts.

Bollywood actor Bobby Deol says his upcoming film ‘Help’, opposite Mugdha Godse, is one of the finest horror movies of recent times.

Speaking about the film directed by debutant Rajeev Virani, Bobby said, “The film has been beautifully shot and I must say it’s one of the finest horror films that the audience will see. It’s chilling, gruesome and the kind of horror which gives you Goosebumps.”

“‘Help’ will take the horror genre in India to another level. My character in the film is extremely well defined and I am sure people will like the new Bobby in the film,” Bobby added.

The actor recently wrapped up the final schedule of the film and is extremely excited about its release which will be announced soon.

We certainly hope the best for this movie. We’re sure that we are yet to see the best of Bobby Deol. Keeping our fingers crossed.
