The beautiful girl was studying at Boston University in the USA when director Leena Yadaav selected her for the role in Big B starrer. However, Shraddha is no newcomer to the field and has an expertise in Odyssey as well as Kathak forms of dancing. Those in the know of things say that Shraddha has fully used her knowledge and expertise in performing the role of a rock star and given a superb performance in the film.
While Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley play the characters of mathematics professors in the film, it is Shraddha Kapoor who provides lighter entertainment to the audience. Shraddha reveals that it was for this flick that she learned for the first time how to slush cards as the flick involves around gambling through cards as the name “Teen Patti” itself suggests.
Naturally, expectations are high, considering her lineages are not less than any other star kid. With aunt Padmini Kolhapure, grand father Pt. Pandharinath Kolhapure and Lata Mangeshkar (her mother Shivangi is Lataji’s niece) the debutant is all set to strike. Shraddha’s freshness has already bagged her plum roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali production opposite Prateik Babbar and Nagarjuna’s son Nag Chaitanya even before her debut film is released.
