Bipasha Basu has been in the news for walking out of two recent shows. And now, a print ad for a well-known jewllery brand (endorsed by many B-Town actresses) featuring Bips ran into.

A problem because of the over-inflated budget submitted by her designer for the costumes.Says a source, “Print ad budgets cost anything between Rs 5-7 lakh but the Bongshell’s budget for.

This one had skyrocketed to 12 lakhs! What was shocking was that Bips’ designer Priyanjali had charged five lakh for five outfits.

Other expenditures included studio charges, photographer fees, make-up and hair stylist, etc. When the owner saw the breakdown of the expensive photo shoot, he decided to cancel it.

The source continue “Bipasha also put her foot down and told the brand that she would stick to her designer and cancel the contract.

When it became clear the brand owner wouldn’t change his mind, everyone tried to convince the actress to find a workable situation.

Finally, the designer’s fee was drastically reduced and the ad was shot on Friday.”However a source close to the Bengali bombshell adds, “It’s not Bips but her endorsement agency that is responsible for inflating budgets of print shots or her walkouts from a few events.”Bipasha’s spokesperson says, “I am not aware about the cancellation.

They took three alternate dates and finally shot on May 23 for the same. Every artiste is entitled to give couple of photographer and stylist options.The clients are free to choose and lock accordingly. They had problems fitting in one of the photographers’ budget so we had given them five choices…

The same was true for stylists. The stylist who worked on the shoot charged only Rs 50,000 as her fee. The clothes depending from whom you source it or buy it from, vary in budgets. Priyanjali happily budgeted the clothes within the quote given by the brand and apparently, the shoot results are awesome.”

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has now taken up the job of a tutor and the lucky student is her south co-star Rana Daggubati.

No this not any role that she is playing in any of her forthcoming movie but on the sets of Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum she was found helping Rana with his Hindi who is poor in the language.

According to a source from the sets, “As he is not well-versed with the language, the actress is taking all the hard work to have him good control over the language, which will only help to mouth his dialogues well. Though Bipasha herself is not that easy with the language but trying her bit to help Rana Daggubati.” The actress also not seriously adds that now if he asks her any word in Hindi she’ll charge a fee but who cares about the fees when it’s learning practice from Bipasha Basu as a teacher.

Bipasha Basu is one of the hottest ladies in Bollywood. But, this title comes with its own share of troubles.

Recently, Bipasha Basu had to pay the price for being the hottest diva in town. Reports are that at a recent awards ceremony, Bipasha Basu was at the receiving end of some sexist comments. The crowd gathered to witness.

At the awards ceremony, the crowd went out of control and started using indecent language to get the actresses’ attention. When the crowd began to use words like Bipasha, ‘Beedi Jalaly Le’ and ‘Item Girl’, the actress decided to walk out of the venue much to the surprise of the organizers.

An irate Bipasha stormed out of the ceremony making it clear that she was not going to bear with all the non-sense from the unruly crowd.

Finally, the awards were given away by the organizers themselves leaving the affair mired in unnecessary controversy.

According to Bipasha, she hasn’t starved herself to get her coveted body. She has worked out hard and stuck religiously to a diet.

However, she doesn’t always watch what she’s eating. She admits to having one day in the week when she only binges.

On that day, she eats everything and anything she likes and even goes on to add ghee with her rotis. But the remaining days, she follows her diet carefully.

Bipasha also clears the air around the much hated fats saying that they’re necessary for one’s body too and they bring the glow to one’s face. That’s a nice tip, provided everyone sticks to having just one day to binge…

It’s well known that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has no plans to cast Hurman S Baweja in the much talked about movie “Chenab Gandhi“. John Abraham has replaced Hurman Baweja in the movie that is to be directed by Vibhu Puri. But John’s girlfriend Bipasha Basu wants him out of the project.

We didn’t know Bips was this possessive about John Abraham. The actress has been coaxing John Abraham to opt out of “Chenab Gandhi” because Vidya Balan is also part of the project. Vidya Balan’s presence alongside John makes Bipasha feel very insecure.

John and Vidya were last seen together in Nikhil Advani’s flop flick, “Salaam-E-Ishq“. While they shared good on screen chemistry, their off screen chemistry was more talked about. John was also apparently seen giving Vidya Balan a bike ride at Bandstand during the shooting of the film. All this had made Bipasha quiet jealous that time and the couple even had fights over it. John for long after that never signed any film opposite Vidya and vice-versa.

Recently, Vidya Balan opted out of David Dhawan’s “Hook Ya Crook” in which John plays the lead. But now with a plum project in their laps, we think the two will settle for a compromise. Wonder how John’s ladylove feels about this.

While the film “Chenab Gandhi” was scheduled to start in April, it has now got postponed to December 2009 because of John’s delay in allotting dates. This delay from John has been on purpose because he hopes by then Bipasha would cool down. But it doesn’t seem so, as the couple has again begun to have arguments over this issue.”

Chenab is a period film that is based on life of famous freedom fighter from the North West Frontier province, Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan who was also known as Chenab Gandhi. Amitabh Bachchan is playing the title role.
