Rani And Aditya Chopra’s Huge Fight
September 3, 2008
According to inside sources, Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherji had a fight amongst themselves. As a result of which, they both had even stopped communicating with each other.
Sources revealed, “Rani was upset by the treatment her once special banner, Yash Raj films had been meting out to her post the flopping of her Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic. She was getting the feelers about her no longer being the blue eyed girl of the prestigious banner.
There was no big project announced keeping her in mind and she only had just one film with them that too being directed by a debutant director. But she had kept quiet over this matter despite it all being extremely frustrating for her.
Just later then, Aditya Chopra confronted her over a matter that came in the press.
It is a well known fact that Adi likes to maintain huge secrecy concerning his projects. He was therefore very miffed with Rani that she spoke some off the record things about her film with Yash Raj to her media friends.
What she spoke to them came out in the press and Adi didn’t like it one bit. But as he confronted her over this all her boiled up anger came out and she questioned him over his changed attitude towards her post the flopping of TPTM.
Well this further led to a huge argument between the two and they both parted ways refusing to talk to one another. But just a week later Adi took the first step in reconciling their spoiled relation and asked for a meeting with her. Rani agreed and after this meeting they were back to being friends again!”

That’s when a close friend referred Suzanne’s name to her. Suzanne has a professional interior designing degree from the
Besides décor, Rani is also keen about investing in property. She recently purchased a flat in Juhu in which she wanted a drawing room with a combined Western-Eastern contemporary feel.
Extremely happy with the results in her bungalow, Rani has now handed over the interiors of her “Janki Kutir” flat to Suzanne again.

Careful! Don’t Go Near Rani
November 15, 2006
Mediapersons from a news channel were allegedly assaulted by private security guards escorting actors Rani Mukherjee, Konkana Sen Sharma and other crew members of Yash Raj banner’s upcoming movie being shot in Varanasi.
The trouble started near the Dashwashamedh Ghat when the film crew, including Rani and Konkana, were leaving for their hotel after a day-long shoot at Mirghat edging the Ganga river.
When some journalists tried to get close to the crew members, security guards escorting the film crew roughed up the mediapersons.
Some of the journalists sustained injuries and one camera was damaged. Later, the police reached the spot and took control of the situation.
The film is being directed by Pradeep Sarkar of Parineeta fame and also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
It is likely to be shot over the next fortnight at various locations in the holy city, including the Ramnagar Fort housing royal family of Kashi.
So just be careful. Don’t go very near to any celebrity. Especially of Rani Mukherjee fame or if you see some bouncers along with the stars. They might just show you the stars you don’t want to see. And relax. Rani is still very very very sweet
She has nothing to do with this incident.
Rani Dumps Manish Malhotra’s Creations
November 9, 2006
Bollywood star Rani Mukherjee has replaced her dress designer and will sport a new look in her latest film, a news report said. She has chosen Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her latest project, the movie, Babul. Sabyasachi is a popular designer known more for his couture work than designing clothes for movie stars.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee replaces Manish Malhotra, a well-known dress designer for Bollywood’s top stars including Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta.
Rani and Mansh have been together since 1998. Rani has been wearing Manish Malhotra’s creations since her breakthrough film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Manish gave Rani a complete makeover in this film and made her a glamorous star from an ‘ill-dressed’ and unknown newcomer/.
Now Rani Mukherjee has decided to change her designer because she feels her look is becoming repetitive. She even plans to recommend Sabyasachi’s name to director Aditya Chopra and other top producers. Well I dunno if she is having some problems with Manish. If she wants to change her designer, it’s okay, but why is she recommending Sabyasachi to everyone.
Anyways, Ravi Chopra, the director of Babul said, “We wanted Manish but finally we had to drop the idea because Rani insistedâ€. Cool. I guess the movie Babul is likely to be released next month. And I seriously hope, that we don’t see a complete makeover once again. I won’t like to see a child staring at the Baabul’s poster and asking me who the gal is. Eeks. Good luck Rani.
