Jaya Bachchan, Again In Rajya Sabha Disqualification Controversy

Actress Jaya Bachchan is once again caught in controversy after having been disqualified once from the Rajya Sabha for holding an ‘office of profit’. Huh…This is a torture. But i think she will be out of all this controversy very quickly. Becayse she is a beatiful lady and very honest one too. 
However, she now faces a complaint for concealing her family’s assets in the mandatory declaration made by her at the time of filing her nomination before her re-election to the upper house of parliament.
Jaya is alleged to have skipped the mention of a huge chunk of land, owned by her husband actor Amitabh Bachchan, in Barabanki district, about 30 km from here.
In his complaint addressed to the Election Commission of India, Ameer Haider, a Barabanki based lawyer and a small-time Congress activist, pointed out that though Jaya filed her nomination a fortnight after the land was transferred in Amitabh’s name, she did not mention the property.
