Ayesha Takia All Set For New Funky Looks

She used to look beautiful is all i can say.
Anyways, our very talented actress Ayesha Takia is all excited about sporting a funky look in her upcoming film “Fool N Final”.
Ayesha was apparently stumped when director Ahmed Khan messed up with her hair in an attempt to give her an unkempt look in the film.
” ‘Fool N Final’ is a romantic action comedy. It’s an out-and-out entertainer. I have a loud, funky look in the film. My hair was messed up so that it could gel with my character,” says Ayesha.
“The look is very wacky so as to enliven my character in the film. It’s a fun film with some great songs and lots of hip hop,” remarks the chirpy actress.
Ayesha shares screen space with one of her oldest co-stars Shahid Kapoor. The two play thieves who are always on the run in the film.
“This is my second film with Shahid. He is a good hardworking actor and we got along well,” she quips. “Fool N Final”, produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, has an ensemble cast starring Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Shahid Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vivek Oberoi, Bipasha Basu, Arbaaz Khan, Sameera Reddy and Ayesha Takia.
British Work Permit For Shilpa Shetty

Bollywood star and winner of the popular reality show “Celebrity Big Brother” Shilpa Shetty has been granted a work permit by the British government.
Labour MP and former minister Keith Vaz wrote a covering letter for the permit application after which the British government granted Shetty the necessary work permit, enabling her to make money from lucrative personal appearances and media interviews.
“I am delighted to support her application to stay longer in the UK,” said Vaz, the Leicester East MP.
The Indian actress is now in India because the original document allowing her to earn money in Britain had expired when the Channel 4 reality show came to an end two weeks ago.
Abhishek Bachchan’s Drona In Trouble

Abhishek Bachchan starrer “Drona”has run into trouble over the use of horses in the film.
The Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) has raised objections to the use of horses in the film, being shot in Bikaner, Rajasthan, without its prior permission.
The illegal use of animals came to light following the death of a horse a few days ago. The board has taken the post-mortem report of the dead animal in its custody.
Gulzari Lal Soni, an executive member of AWBI, a unit of the union environment and forests ministry, reached the shooting venue Thursday and objected to horses being used without permission.
“The unit has been using over 55 horses for the shooting but they haven’t taken permission from AWBI,”Soni told.
Ayesha Takia Is Aamir Khan’s Mystery Girl

The mystery woman in Aamir Khan’s life is no more a mystery. Ayesha Takia, will play Aamir’s leading lady in his next film to be directed by Murugadoss, a film to be produced by Madhu Varma (Ram Gopal Varma’s relative) and Alu Arvind. 
Apparently the film is a remake of Murgudoss’s earlier film Gajini. Ayesha’s mother confirmed the news saying, “Ayesha will be paired opposite Aamir in a forthcoming project. The film is a remake of a south Indian film which will be directed by a south Indian director.” she said.
Ayesha’s career is on an upswing with her winning critical acclaim for films like Nagesh Kukunoor’s Dor and Nikhil Advani’s Salaam-E-Ishq. Dor especially seems to have worked wonders for the actress with directors and producers suddenly taking notice of her talent. Aamir too seems to have acknowledge this fact.
Ayesha, as of now has three films in the pipeline- Lovely Singh’s Kya Love Story Hain opposite Tusshar Kapoor, E Niwas’s De Taali (where she Riteish Deshmukh and Aftaab Shivdasani play childhood friends) and Ahmed Khan’s Fool and Final opposite Shahid Kapoor.
Although she has acted with many budding stars, this is Ayesha’s first film opposite a megastar and the relatively newcomer is ecstatic.
We all are only too well acquainted with Aamir Khan’s work policy however, and Ayesha can’t reveal anything more at this point.
Salman Khan For Yashraj Films???

There has to be some truth to it. Rumours have it that Kunal Kohli has moved to Salman Khan for his new film. With Yash Raj presenting Kunal’s film and Salman essaying the lead role, does it mark Salman’s entry into the Yash Raj camp?
“Nahin, aisa kuch bhi nahin hain,†Kunal laughs, “I haven’t signed him (Salman) for my new film. Someone’s imagination is working overtime.â€
“I guess, it triggered off during the G.I.F.A. Awards in Malaysia. Arbaaz (Salman’s younger brother) and I got friendly during that period. One evening, Salman threw a small party in his suite and Arbaaz asked me if I’d like to join them.
I did, and the next thing I know, there are reports that I had signed Salman. Wasn’t SRK supposed to star in my film initially?†Kunal jokes.
Let me complete writing the script first. I have decided not to approach any actor till I am ready with a hardbound script. Does that clarify my stand?†It does!

Recently Koena Mitra pulled off successful prank on her colleagues with very little effort and tricked them into believing that she is getting engaged.
Koena sent SMS writing: “I know this may shock and surprise you but you are invited for my engagement on Feb 29 at J.W. Marriott Hotel. Invites will reach you soon, please message me your address.”
Most of her friends failed to notice anything unusual about the date ‘Feb 29′ and the actress received more than 45 SMSs in response to her invite.

Renowned painter M.F. Husain is raving about Amrita Rao’s pristine beauty in her last movie “Vivah” and the actress says his admiring comments take her girl next-door image to another level.
The painter calls her the youthful face of the ultimate Indian woman.
“It is the best compliment of my life,” said Amrita who is very proud of her image. It takes courage not to expose when the norm is to wear mini clothes to grab attention.

Jaya Bachchan, Again In Rajya Sabha Disqualification Controversy

Actress Jaya Bachchan is once again caught in controversy after having been disqualified once from the Rajya Sabha for holding an ‘office of profit’. Huh…This is a torture. But i think she will be out of all this controversy very quickly. Becayse she is a beatiful lady and very honest one too.
However, she now faces a complaint for concealing her family’s assets in the mandatory declaration made by her at the time of filing her nomination before her re-election to the upper house of parliament.
Jaya is alleged to have skipped the mention of a huge chunk of land, owned by her husband actor Amitabh Bachchan, in Barabanki district, about 30 km from here.
In his complaint addressed to the Election Commission of India, Ameer Haider, a Barabanki based lawyer and a small-time Congress activist, pointed out that though Jaya filed her nomination a fortnight after the land was transferred in Amitabh’s name, she did not mention the property.
Forgive, Forget And Move On: Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty might be no “Samaritan” to help Jade Goody come out of distress, but she is also in no mood to carry forward the race row any more.
The Bollywood actress, who has become a “heroic figure” in recent days because of her magnanimous approach to the bullying that went on so publicly in the reality show, wants to move on in life, and let “bygones be bygones”.
Shetty, who yesterday visited the Commons and met MPs, has no vengeance left for any of her housemates, even the ones accused of making her stay hell at the house.
According to her PR guru Max Clifford, while Shilpa still has no plans to see her tormentor again onscreen, she is willing to forgive Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara for the bullying and taunts she was made to endure in the Big Brother house.
Traffic Signal Banned In Himachal

Himachal Pradesh has banned Madhur Bhandarkar’s just-released film “Traffic Signal” for using the word ‘kinner’ to denote eunuchs.
Tribals from the state’s Kinnaur district are upset over the use of the term in the film, which takes a peek into the lives of people living near traffic signals in metros.
The people of the district maintain that under the constitution only they have the privilege of being called ‘kinners’. They have demanded that the film be banned across the country.
The state government took the decision to ban the film late Wednesday.
A state government spokesman said that unless the objectionable word ‘kinner’ was removed, the ban will continue. Bhandarkar reportedly refused to oblige.
In 2001, the government banned a film titled “Kohram” as it had a villain called Virbhadra Singh, the name of the chief minister. The ban still continues.
