Tony Blair Is Sorry Too

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, winner of the “Celebrity Big Brother” show, was today the cynosure of all eyes at the House of Commons where she had a meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and attended a luncheon with leading MPs.
During the seven-minute meeting with Blair, Shilpa thanked him for the support he had extended against racism, of which she was allegedly a victim in the reality TV show.
Blair told Shilpa that he was sorry for what had happened in the show.
The luncheon, organised by Labour MP Keith Vaz, also a NRI leader and a former minister, was attended by several MPs, including Peter Hain, Secretary of State of Northern Ireland. Shilpa also witnessed the Prime Minister’s Question Hour.
Naseeruddin Shah To Act In His First Pakistani Film

Khuda Ke Naam is Naseeruddin Shah’s first Pakistani film. Pakistani filmmaker Shoab Mansoor directs the film and Naseer is doing just one sequence!Â
Definitely good to see him back.
According to Nasser, director Shoab Mansoor came to Mumbai to meet him. Naseeruddin liked the script and thought of doing it Naseer plays an elderly maulana, who turns the tables on the fundamentalists.
By talking about several misconceptions about Islam. Apart from this movie Naseer is working for Arindam Mitra’s Shunya, Rishi Mehta’s bi-lingual film Amal. He is also going through the script of Jagmohan Mundhra’s Shoot on Sight.

After the impressive score in “Don”, the troika of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa come up with another imposing offering in “Salaam-e-Ishq”, a film that deals with “six different couples, 12 different lives and one common problem - love”.
“Salaam-e-Ishq” by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, Kunal Ganjawala, Sadhna Sargam and Shankar Mahadevan sets the tone for the album.
Marked by a unique blend of bagpiper music and Punjabi folk, this peppy number truly brings out the exuberance of the composers.
The there is the impressive love song “Mera Dil”, sung by Shaan and Zee TV “Sa Re Ga Ma” finalist Nihira. Their voices gel nicely in this high-pitch number.
Kangana Ranaut Is Face Of The Year 2006

If 2005 launched Vidya Balan, then this year is definitely for Kangana Ranaut, who has emerged as one of the most promising newcomers in filmdom.
In the last few years, Bollywood has opened its doors wide for newcomers, and the older crop of actors has also happily made way for the young brigade. As a result, new faces have flooded the silver screen. The numbers were the highest in 2005, with Shiney Ahuja and Vidya leading the young pack.
This year, however, there are fewer new faces and out of them Kangana Ranaut is shining and on strong firmament.
Jiah Khan Can Smell Big B

Director Ram Gopal Varma’s discovery Jiah Khan, making her debut in “Nishad”, shocked her co-star Amitabh Bachchan by guessing the names of his perfumes and colognes just by smelling them.
According to Jiah, Amitabh has an amazing collection of cologne. He would sport a new brand every day during the shooting of “Nishabd”.
She would smell it once and instantly tell Amitabh the brand name.
